Article 1 – Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Vitarego Health mobile application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Vitarego (“we”, “us”, “our”), registration number 030187, Riga, Latvia.

Article 2 – Description of Service

Vitarego is a personal health tracking application that allows you to:

  • Upload and analyze laboratory test results
  • Track vital signs, medications, symptoms, and conditions
  • Receive AI-powered health insights and recommendations
  • Generate health reports for personal use or sharing with healthcare providers
  • Sync health data with Apple Health and Google Health Connect

Article 3 – Medical Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: Vitarego is NOT a medical device. The App does not provide medical diagnoses, treatment plans, or clinical advice. All health insights, scores, and recommendations are for informational and educational purposes only.

You should always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making any medical decisions. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information provided by the App.

In case of a medical emergency, contact emergency services immediately.

Article 4 – User Accounts

  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must provide accurate information during registration.
  • One account per person. Account sharing is not permitted.
  • We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

Article 5 – User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the App only for its intended purpose (personal health tracking)
  • Not upload false, misleading, or fraudulent health data
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the App
  • Not use the App to harm, harass, or impersonate others
  • Not use automated tools to access the App (bots, scrapers)
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Article 6 – Subscriptions and Payments

Free Tier

The App provides core features at no cost, including limited lab report uploads, basic health tracking, and limited AI questions per week.

Premium Subscription

  • Premium features are available via monthly or yearly subscription.
  • Payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your device’s app store settings.
  • No refunds are provided for partial billing periods, except as required by applicable law or app store policies.

Article 7 – Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, algorithms, and branding in the App are owned by Vitarego and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Your health data remains your property. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Article 8 – AI Features

The App uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude) to analyze health data and provide insights. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content is not medical advice
  • AI may produce inaccurate or incomplete information
  • AI analysis is based on the data you provide — incomplete data leads to incomplete insights
  • You should verify AI suggestions with a healthcare professional

Article 9 – Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal and health data in compliance with GDPR.

Article 10 – Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of health insights.
  • We are not liable for any health decisions made based on information from the App.
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Article 11 – Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

Article 12 – Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.
  • Upon deletion, all your personal and health data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
  • We may terminate your account for violation of these Terms with prior notice.

Article 13 – Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Article 14 – Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Riga, Latvia, without prejudice to your rights under consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
